Something big is happening inside Royal Randwick this spring, with a brand-new hospitality precinct being created for TAB Everest Day.
The Australian Turf Club has announced TAB Clubhouse after corporate hospitality for the event sold out, opening up a new way to experience one of Sydney’s biggest race days — and the location is pretty hard to beat.
So, what’s actually coming?
TAB Clubhouse will take over a prime position in the Royal Randwick infield, opposite the Queen Elizabeth II Grandstand, overlooking the final 150 metres of the home straight.
That puts guests right near the action as the horses make their final run to the finish in the $20 million TAB Everest.
Inside, it’s less traditional race-day hospitality and more big social day out, with all-inclusive food and drinks, live entertainment and betting facilities included.
Tickets are $895 per person, with General Admission entry to TAB Everest Day also included.
Why now?
Demand.
Corporate hospitality for TAB Everest Day has already sold out, prompting the Australian Turf Club to add another major option for racegoers.
It’s another sign of just how big Everest Day has become in Sydney, drawing huge crowds to Randwick and making it one of the busiest weekends of the year in this pocket of the East.
