One More Summer at Bronte Pool
Waverley Council has pushed the planned Bronte Ocean Pool pumphouse replacement works back to March 2027.
For locals and regular swimmers, that means the iconic ocean pool is expected to remain open throughout the coming summer, with the disruption now pushed into next year.
The works will replace ageing pumphouse and pumping infrastructure, with precast components planned to help shorten construction time and reduce the length of the eventual pool closure.

Bronte Pool remains open for now, with further details on construction timing and closure dates expected closer to the start of works.
So for now, summer swims at Bronte are still on. 💦
