The Spot is closing to traffic for six big Thursday nights — and frankly, we’re taking that as official permission to skip cooking.
Spot On is returning to Randwick this spring, transforming St Pauls Street into a lively outdoor precinct packed with local dining, entertainment, performances and family-friendly fun.
Every Thursday evening from 24 September to 29 October, part of the street will become pedestrian-friendly, giving local restaurants and businesses the chance to spill out into the precinct while The Spot comes alive around them.
What can you expect?
The full weekly programs are still under wraps, but Spot On is all about creating a proper night out at one of Randwick’s best-known dining precincts.
Expect a rotating mix of live entertainment, performances, activities and outdoor dining, with each Thursday bringing something a little different.
And with The Spot already home to plenty of restaurants, bars, cafés and the iconic Ritz Cinemas, you could easily turn it into dinner, entertainment and a movie — no complicated planning required.
A little heads-up before you go 🚧
St Pauls Street will be partially closed each Thursday, with the main road closures and bus diversions operating from 3.30pm to 11pm.
Event clearways kick in from 2.30pm, so if you’re driving, check the signs before parking.
The weekly programs are still being revealed, so we’ll be keeping an eye on what’s coming and sharing the good stuff as it drops. 👀
