Could Bondi Junction’s Spotlight site become a public high school? Waverley Council is expected to consider a proposal on Tuesday 20 October to investigate the idea.
According to the Wentworth Courier, councillor Joshua Spicer wants the council-owned Ebley Street site assessed for a vertical public high school.
Supporters say school planning must keep pace with proposed housing growth. State MPs point to existing school capacity and question whether the site offers suitable outdoor space.
This is a proposal to investigate the site’s potential. No school has been approved.
Would you welcome another public high school in Bondi Junction? We’d love to hear from local parents.
