OCTOBER 10: Glenayr Avenue Street Party Is Back in Bondi This Saturday

One of Bondi’s favourite local streets is shutting to traffic and turning into one big spring celebration, with the Glenayr Avenue Street Party returning this Saturday, 10 October.

Waverley Council is bringing Glenayr Avenue to life with live music, street eats, kids’ entertainment and plenty of good vibes from morning through to evening and it’s completely free.

What’s happening

The street will be transformed for the day, giving locals and visitors the chance to wander Glenayr Avenue without the usual traffic and settle in for a very Bondi kind of Saturday.

Expect live entertainment, food, family activities and plenty happening along the street, with the event designed as a relaxed spring celebration for the whole community.

Whether you’re heading down for lunch, bringing the kids for the activities or simply meeting friends for a wander through Bondi, you can drop in anytime between 11am and 8pm.

Driving through Bondi? Take note

There will be temporary road closures, parking restrictions and public transport changes around Glenayr Avenue while the event is running.

If you’re driving through the area, allow some extra time and keep an eye out for temporary traffic and parking signage.

Why it’s worth heading down

Free local events that actually give you something to do for a few hours are always a win — particularly when they combine food, live entertainment and something for the kids.
