The new championship will see everyday Aussies, former rugby league stars and professional competitive eaters go head-to-head to find out who can put away the most Garlo’s pies.
The Legends Division includes Paul Gallen, Aaron Woods, Mark Carroll, Mark Geyer, Billy Moore, John Sutton and more, while Australian competitive eating champ James Webb will be stepping up for the professionals.
The event is the brainchild of former Rabbitohs player and Garlo’s founder Sean Garlick, who hopes the championship will grow into an annual Aussie tradition.
A Sunday at the pub, footy legends and an unreasonable number of meat pies? This might just be one of the most Australian events Coogee has seen. 🥧🏉
